NDIS
Capacity building exercise physiology for plan managed and self managed participants, delivered at home, in the community or by telehealth.
Funded under your capacity building supports
Exercise physiology usually sits under Improved Daily Living or Improved Health and Wellbeing, so it does not come out of your core supports. If the funding is in your plan, you can start without waiting for a review.
We work with plan managed and self managed participants. You get a service agreement up front, clear pricing in line with the current support catalogue, and sessions delivered where you live rather than in a clinic you have to arrange transport to.
- Plan managed and self managed participants welcome
- Priced to the current NDIS support catalogue
- Sessions at home, in the community or by telehealth
- Progress reports written for plan reviews
- We liaise with coordinators, plan managers and therapy teams
Support coordinators
Send a referral with the participant name, contact details, plan management type and the goals you are working towards. We make contact within two business days and confirm capacity before you commit the funding.
- Service agreement and quote supplied up front
- Invoices issued to the plan manager directly
- Assessment and review reports on request
- Current insurance and clearances held
Building capacity, not dependence
Every program is written against the goals in your plan, measured at the start and retested, so progress is something you can point to rather than something you hope happened.
Mobility and transfers
Strength and movement work aimed at standing, transferring, stairs, getting off the floor and moving around your home with less assistance.
Falls and safety
Balance and reaction training that reduces falls risk, supported by practical changes to how you move through the spaces you use every day.
Health and wellbeing
Weight, fitness, blood pressure, bone density and energy levels, managed with exercise that fits your condition and your support needs.
Community access
Building the capacity to join a gym, a team or a walking group, and the confidence to keep going once our sessions finish.
Reports that count
Assessment results, goal progress and recommendations written in language your planner and plan reviewer can use.
Flexible delivery
Sessions at home, in the community or by telehealth, scheduled around supports, school, work and the rest of your plan.
Four steps from first call to lasting results
Book online, any time
Use the booking form on this site day or night. Tell us what is going on, where you would like to be seen and when suits you. We confirm the details with you directly.
Initial assessment
A one hour visit at your home, at our Kanahooka training base or online by telehealth. We take a full history, test strength, range and function, and explain in plain language what is driving the problem.
Your program
You leave the first session with a written program built around your goals, your equipment and your schedule, not a generic handout.
Progress and review
We supervise, adjust the load as you improve, retest along the way and report back to your GP, insurer or support coordinator when that is part of your funding.
Frequently asked questions
B2B Rehab is a mobile exercise physiology service, which means we visit you or your patient in the comfort of your own home or another location that suits you. Everything needed for the session travels with us.
Simply make a booking using the online booking system on this site and we will reach out to confirm the details. If you would rather train somewhere set up for it, our training base at Dandaloo Sports Ground, 336 Kanahooka Rd, Kanahooka NSW 2530 is available by appointment, and we also run appointments online by telehealth.
We travel across Wollongong, the Illawarra, Shellharbour and South Sydney. That includes Wollongong, Kanahooka, Dapto, Port Kembla, Figtree, Corrimal, Thirroul, Shellharbour, Kiama and the southern Sydney suburbs.
If you are just outside those areas, get in touch anyway. We will tell you honestly whether we can reach you, and telehealth appointments are available anywhere in Australia.
An accredited exercise physiologist is a university qualified allied health professional who uses clinical exercise to treat injury, chronic disease and disability. We are recognised by Medicare, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the NDIS, private health funds and workers compensation insurers.
Where a physiotherapist often focuses on hands on treatment in the early stage of an injury, exercise physiology focuses on the rebuilding phase: restoring strength, movement, capacity and confidence so the problem does not keep coming back. The two work well together, and we will refer you on when hands on treatment or imaging is the right next step.
It is not only for injury and illness either. The same testing and programming is used for performance: return to sport after an injury, strength and conditioning blocks, technique coaching and managing training load so you can push hard without breaking down again.
Gold and White Card holders are fully funded. Ask your GP for a D904 allied health referral naming exercise physiology, then send it through to us. We bill the Department of Veterans Affairs directly, so there is no payment, no gap and no claiming on your part.
A standard referral covers up to twelve sessions in twelve months, and we come to your home anywhere in the Illawarra, so there is no clinic to drive to and no waiting room. If you are not sure what to ask your doctor for, call us on 0424 234 282 and we will walk you through it.
We work with plan managed and self managed participants. Exercise physiology is usually funded under Improved Daily Living or Improved Health and Wellbeing, and it does not come out of your core supports.
You will get a service agreement up front, sessions at home or in the community rather than in a clinic, and progress reports written so they can be used at your plan review. We are happy to take referrals straight from support coordinators, plan managers and allied health teams.
