Mobile across Wollongong, the Illawarra, Shellharbour and South Sydney

Services

Accredited exercise physiology delivered at your home, at your workplace, at our Kanahooka training base or online by telehealth.

Mobile exercise physiology

We load the car and come to you. Full assessments and supervised sessions run in your living room, garage, local park or gym with all the equipment we need brought along.

DVA veteran services

Fully funded exercise physiology for Gold and White Card holders under a D904 referral, with nothing to pay out of pocket. We see serving members, veterans and their families at home, so there is no clinic to travel to.

NDIS exercise physiology

Capacity building programs for plan managed and self managed participants, built around strength, mobility, transfers, independence and community access, with the reports your plan review needs.

Injury and post surgical rehab

Structured, staged programs for back and neck pain, shoulders, knees, hips and ankles, including return to sport and post operative loading after joint replacement or reconstruction.

Chronic disease management

Exercise prescription for type 2 diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, obesity, osteoporosis and respiratory conditions, delivered under a Medicare care plan where eligible.

Chronic pain management

A graded, non threatening approach to persistent pain that rebuilds confidence in movement, paces activity properly and gets you back to the things you have stopped doing.

Performance and return to sport

Exercise physiology is not only for injury and illness. We run return to sport testing, strength and conditioning blocks, technique coaching and load management so athletes and everyday lifters come back stronger than before and stay on the park.

Older adults and falls prevention

Balance, strength and mobility work that keeps you steady on your feet and living independently, suitable for Home Care Package and residential aged care clients.

Workplace and injury management

Workers compensation and CTP rehabilitation, functional capacity work, graded return to work programs and liaison with your insurer, doctor and employer.

Telehealth appointments

Secure video sessions for anyone outside our driving range, away for work, or simply short on time. Assessment, program reviews and coaching work well online, and telehealth is claimable through DVA, NDIS and most private funds.

Funded programs

Veterans and NDIS participants

Two groups make up a large part of our work, and both are usually funded in full. If either applies to you, start here.

DVA veteran services

Gold and White Card holders are fully funded under a D904 referral. We bill the Department of Veterans Affairs directly, come to your home anywhere in the Illawarra, and report back to your GP. Nothing to pay and no claiming.

NDIS exercise physiology

Plan managed and self managed participants, funded under Improved Daily Living or Improved Health and Wellbeing. Sessions at home, in the community or by telehealth, with reports written for your plan review.

How it works

Four steps from first call to lasting results

1

Book online, any time

Use the booking form on this site day or night. Tell us what is going on, where you would like to be seen and when suits you. We confirm the details with you directly.

2

Initial assessment

A one hour visit at your home, at our Kanahooka training base or online by telehealth. We take a full history, test strength, range and function, and explain in plain language what is driving the problem.

3

Your program

You leave the first session with a written program built around your goals, your equipment and your schedule, not a generic handout.

4

Progress and review

We supervise, adjust the load as you improve, retest along the way and report back to your GP, insurer or support coordinator when that is part of your funding.

Client feedback

Satisfied patients

Elias is passionate and motivating and cares about his clients. He even noticed one session when I was having a bad day and stopped to talk to me, showing compassion for my issues.

Wylie, Illawarra

Eli was very comforting. He referred me on for diagnosis and then provided me with a home exercise program. Definitely recommend.

Sophie, South Sydney

Eli treated my 15 year old son for neck pain, and within three sessions he relieved my son's pain. He provided education around sports performance and weight training which was great.

Simone, Wollongong
Questions

Frequently asked questions

B2B Rehab is a mobile exercise physiology service, which means we visit you or your patient in the comfort of your own home or another location that suits you. Everything needed for the session travels with us.

Simply make a booking using the online booking system on this site and we will reach out to confirm the details. If you would rather train somewhere set up for it, our training base at Dandaloo Sports Ground, 336 Kanahooka Rd, Kanahooka NSW 2530 is available by appointment, and we also run appointments online by telehealth.

We travel across Wollongong, the Illawarra, Shellharbour and South Sydney. That includes Wollongong, Kanahooka, Dapto, Port Kembla, Figtree, Corrimal, Thirroul, Shellharbour, Kiama and the southern Sydney suburbs.

If you are just outside those areas, get in touch anyway. We will tell you honestly whether we can reach you, and telehealth appointments are available anywhere in Australia.

An accredited exercise physiologist is a university qualified allied health professional who uses clinical exercise to treat injury, chronic disease and disability. We are recognised by Medicare, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the NDIS, private health funds and workers compensation insurers.

Where a physiotherapist often focuses on hands on treatment in the early stage of an injury, exercise physiology focuses on the rebuilding phase: restoring strength, movement, capacity and confidence so the problem does not keep coming back. The two work well together, and we will refer you on when hands on treatment or imaging is the right next step.

It is not only for injury and illness either. The same testing and programming is used for performance: return to sport after an injury, strength and conditioning blocks, technique coaching and managing training load so you can push hard without breaking down again.

Gold and White Card holders are fully funded. Ask your GP for a D904 allied health referral naming exercise physiology, then send it through to us. We bill the Department of Veterans Affairs directly, so there is no payment, no gap and no claiming on your part.

A standard referral covers up to twelve sessions in twelve months, and we come to your home anywhere in the Illawarra, so there is no clinic to drive to and no waiting room. If you are not sure what to ask your doctor for, call us on 0424 234 282 and we will walk you through it.

Ready when you are
